Pastor Adeboye’s Led RCCG And Their Various CSR Initiatives (Part One)

The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye is man who is sown to give back to the society. Through his various initiatives the Church is actively involved in numerous Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, impacting lives across different sectors. RCCG’s CSR programs are carried out through various arms, including His Love Foundation (HLF) and individual parish initiatives. Below are some key areas of their CSR efforts that this space shall be highlighting:

As at today, over 166 million lives have been impacted, with more than 44 thousand operating centres in Nigeria; and more than 990 thousand projects executed.


1. Education Initiatives

Scholarships & Bursaries: RCCG provides financial support to indigent students.

School Buildings & Libraries: Construction and renovation of schools, particularly in underprivileged areas.

Jesus House Schools: These schools offer affordable or free education in various locations.


2. Healthcare Initiatives

Free Medical Missions: RCCG organizes free medical check-ups, surgeries, and drug distributions.

Hospitals & Clinics: Several RCCG-run health centers provide low-cost or free treatment.

Blood Donation Drives: Partnering with organizations to encourage voluntary blood donations.


3. Food & Welfare Programs

Feeding the Hungry: Distribution of food packs to the less privileged through the "Feeding Initiative" under His Love Foundation.

Empowerment Programs: Skill acquisition and vocational training for widows, orphans, and unemployed youths.

Housing Support: Some parishes provide housing assistance to those in need.


4. Disaster Relief & Humanitarian Aid

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) is deeply committed to educational development as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Through various initiatives, RCCG provides scholarships, school infrastructure, and skill acquisition programs to empower students and communities. These initiatives are implemented through RCCG’s His Love Foundation (HLF) and other church-led organizations.

As at today, 1,422,958 Student Scholarships have been granted; 15,957 Education Project In Nigeria have been executed and eight (8) Free Schools Established.

Hope Center, Makoko, Lagos State.

The Redeemer’s Nursery and Primary School, Oko Abe.

The Redeemer’s Junior Secondary School, Ito-Omu.

The Redeemer’s Senior Secondary School, Ito-Omu.

Redeemer’s Glorious Seed Academy, Okuta-Elerinla.

Resettlement Community Primary School, Eti-Osa East LCDA.

Redeemer’s Fortress School, Maryland, Lagos State.


It is also of note that there are five (5)

Professorial Chairs in RCCG; They include;


Enoch Adeboye Professorial Chairs in Mathematics:


University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos State.


University of Nsukka, Enugu State.


University of Ibadan, Oyo State.


Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State.


University of Jos, Plateau State.

Impact of RCCG’s CSR in Education

Thousands of students have benefitted from RCCG scholarships.

Hundreds of schools & libraries have been built or renovated.

Free literacy programs have empowered many adults with education.

Technical & vocational training has helped reduce unemployment.

RCCG’s educational initiatives continue to transform lives and uplift communities by making quality education accessible to all.
