Myles Leadership University Honours Dr. Rex Idaminabo and other Distinguished Individuals In London



The atmosphere at the African Centre, Union Street, London, was one of inspiration and celebration, uniting leaders, visionaries, and change-makers under one roof to honour education, service, and the spirit of global leadership.

The event was the prestigious Myles Leadership University Honorary Doctorate Conferment ceremony aimed at celebrating excellence, innovation, and visionary leadership across the continents.

While welcoming the distinguished guests and honourees in his warm address, Dr. Matthew Godwin Mario, representative of Myles Leadership University, emphasized the importance of recognising people from diverse backgrounds who have contributed immensely to global development and continue to create opportunities and spaces for the next generation of leaders.

He stated that; “Myles Leadership University believes that leadership is not limited to the classroom, but lived through service, impact, and innovation. Today, we honour those who exemplify these values.”

The honorary doctorate ceremony forms part of the University’s global convocation series, designed to celebrate exceptional individuals whose work continues to transform industries and inspire positive change.

Among this year’s distinguished honorary doctorate recipients were: Dr. Tonye Rex Idaminabo FRSA, CEO of Reputation Poll International & Founder of African Achievers Awards; Chief Light Aboetaka, Founder/CEO, African Afforestation Association (Germany); Mrs. Bilkiss Moorad, MD/CEO LegalWise, Botswana, and Adesegun Adeosun Jr. (SMADE), Co-founder Afro Nation & Founder Smade Entertainment Group, UK.

The event also highlighted Project Educate 1,000, a Myles University initiative aimed at supporting access to higher education for underprivileged students worldwide , a reflection of the institution’s enduring mission to empower over five million youths by 2045.

Dame Mary Martin London, fashion designer, was also recognized with a Golden Plaque for her leadership and continuous contributions to the UK and international fashion industry.
